Excerpt Jenna repeated her friend Kate's words from the flirting class in her head. Shoulders straight. Hips forward. Lips curling upwards as if you were ready to smile. She had no trouble adopting a sexy swivel when Grant's eyes watching her were as hot as the fire.
"Have a seat." Grant gestured toward the sofa.
"I'm all wet." She gestured toward her blizzard-drenched clothes.
His blue gaze snapped to her face. "I like wet in a woman." A small grin played about his lips.
She had to lick her lips, though she didn't intend it as a flirtatious gesture. Her mouth was as dry as the firewood. The truth was, she didn't have enough real-life practice with flirting.
She never should have attempted her first in-the-flesh seduction with a guy as hot as Grant. Kate had made it sound so doable, as easy as remembering a few rules from class. Ha! She obviously didn't know how cold her brother could look, even when standing in front of a roaring fire.
"Big talk," she managed.
"I'm a big guy," he said, widening his eyes in a fake look of innocence. Jenna knew exactly which part of him he wanted her to associate with the word 'big'. She fought a blush as she sauntered over to the sofa.
Well, sauntered was the wrong word. No one could do any such thing in these backless, high-heeled sandals. Kate had assured her that no man could resist them and, Jenna had to admit, Grant's eyes had landed on her legs more than once.
She plopped down on the sofa and, recalling another of Kate's tips, she crossed one leg over the other, and pointed her right foot toward Grant. Gently, she began tapping the loose heel of her sandal against her foot. Her movement worked like a hypnotist's gold watch. Grant stared.

"I loved this book. Lots of flirtation, some guilt and some good dynamics between the two characters.
Jenna has emotions that flutter from lust, like, embarrassment and guilt, whilst Grant mainly focuses on lust and anger but the end shows his sweet side.
The book is well plotted and is a perfect holiday read to keep a smile on your face and a tingle else where. Certainly a book to get out year after year to give you a smile. "

This was a HOT little story! I really enjoyed it! Jenna and Grant have instant and scorching chemistry. It was fun watching her try to manipulate the situation and all the while he has an inkling of what’s going on and seems determined to give her enough rope to hang herself. This novella is well written and flows very smoothly. I enjoyed reading it and it only took me about an hour. The sex scenes were hot, the dialogue was funny and there was enough emotion to really engage me even though this was a short read. I’ll be on the lookout for more from this author. I received an ARC of this book from the publisher through Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.
I found Baby, It's Cold Outside by Carly Carson to be the perfect light read, with plenty of steamy and hot scenes to counteract the cold outside.
As the snow begins to fly and the temperature drops, reclusive bachelor Grant discovers a shivering beach bunny at his door. It could be his Christmas and birthday came early - or it could be trouble. As Jenna is a friend of his sister and has a little ulterior motive for her visit.
Jenna definitely lights Grant's fire and he returns the favor. Jenna's motivation in seeing Grant to apologize to him adds another layer to this fun story that I almost wished wouldn't end.
If you're looking for a light romance to heat up your evening, Carly Carson delivers one in Baby, It's Cold Outside (Flirting for Fun).

My Review of "Baby, It's Cold Outside"
A humorous, steamy story that will have you laughing one moment and blushing the next. My only complaint is it seemed a bit rushed, but considering how short the book was the author did a fine job of providing a full story with good characters and a good plot. My rating of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" outside is 4 out of 5 stars.

This is an intriguing story. The premise for the coming together of Jenna and Grant is a bit weak, but Ms. Carson seems to be one of those gifted writers who can write sensuous romance that makes you tingle without being "in your face". An easy to read, satisfying book.
